What it costs
Two ways in, priced in full, nothing behind a phone call. If something below is unclear, that’s a fault in this page and we’d like to know.
The market stall
$250 once, then $25 a month
One long page for a market or stall business: who you are, the product box photographed, where to find you each week, and your socials. Shot and built inside a week.
- One page, built to be sent as a link and read on a phone.
- A product-box shoot — up to a dozen products, photographed in one visit.
- Where to find you, updated by email whenever your markets change.
- Your own domain, owned by you.
The shopfront
$1,000 once, then $50 a month
- The website and the photography, once — $1,000
- Design, the writing, the build, and a half-day photography shoot at your business — live on your own domain, usually five to seven pages. The photographs are yours outright: put them on Instagram, on a menu, in a window, on somebody else’s website later. You own the result.
- Every month after that — $50
- Hosting, the domain renewal, the security certificate, offsite backups, and changes to what’s already on the site. Send an email, we make the change.
- "Changes" means changing what’s there — prices, hours, words, swapping a photograph. A new page, a new feature, or a second location is a new quote, and we’ll give you the number before we do the work rather than on the invoice.
Sell online — add $500 once
An add-on to the shopfront tier. We build the shop into your site and connect it to your own Stripe account — the money goes straight to you and never touches us. Customers pay on Stripe’s secure checkout, get their receipt automatically, and every order lands in your inbox. Your first twenty products photographed, written and loaded. If your range outgrows this — a big catalogue, complicated postage — we’ll move you to a shop platform under your own account, and say so before we start.
Prices are in Australian dollars. We’re not registered for GST, so there’s none to add.
What isn’t included
- Shop software built from scratch — the sell-online add-on connects Stripe or a shop platform, both under your own accounts.
- Booking systems wired into the site. We can link out to one you already use.
- Logo and brand design.
- Advertising, Google Ads, or anything you’d pay a media budget for.
- Ongoing writing beyond the site itself.
- Email hosting.
If you stop
There’s no minimum term and no notice period. Stop paying the monthly fee and the site comes down, because the monthly fee is what’s hosting it. You keep the domain, it stays registered in your name the whole time, and we’ll hand over the content and the photographs so somebody else can pick it up.
One street of these is more websites than we can build in a year.
We're not chasing volume. Two people, a few builds a month, done properly — that's the whole model.
Licensed placeholder photograph — our own shoot replaces it, same frame, no other change.
We set these numbers ourselves and we have not yet tested them on a paying customer. If they’re wrong they’ll go up rather than down, and anybody already paying the monthly fee stays on what they signed up to.
